FAQ

Got a question? Check if we've already answered it.

We are an experienced, accredited NGO based in Kwidzyn, Poland. For years, we have been actively involved in European youth mobility programs. We specialize in non-formal education, Human Rights Education (HRE), and building genuine youth agency. We are a proud holder of the Erasmus+ Accreditation and the European Solidarity Corps Quality Label (for both hosting and sending volunteers).

Absolutely. We are constantly looking for reliable, like-minded organizations across Europe to co-create impactful projects. We actively partner in:
Key Action 1 (KA1): Youth Exchanges and Training Courses for youth workers.
Key Action 2 (KA2): Cooperation partnerships and innovation projects.
European Solidarity Corps (ESC): Hosting international volunteers and sending Polish youth abroad.
If you need a proactive partner with a strong local foundation, we are ready to collaborate!

When you partner with us, you get an organization highly experienced in:
Social Inclusion & Safe Spaces: We run a daily Youth Space and work directly with young people facing geographical, economic, or educational obstacles.
Human Rights & Anti-discrimination: Our team consists of certified anti-discrimination trainers.
Mental Well-being, outdoor education: We apply Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and grassroots methodologies + outdoor education.
Civic Engagement: We teach youth how to advocate for their needs and actively shape their local realities.

Yes! Every year we host international volunteers through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). As a volunteer in Kwidzyn, you will become a core part of our team. You might help run intercultural workshops in local kindergartens, teach your native language, organize events in our Youth Space, and bring a truly global perspective to our local community. Keep an eye on our social media for open calls!

Kwidzyn is a vibrant town of about 40,000 residents in northern Poland. Unlike massive capital cities, Kwidzyn offers a unique "grassroots laboratory" environment. Implementing projects here means you can see the real, tangible impact of your work on the local community. It’s the perfect setting to address issues like "information poverty" and rural/semi-rural youth exclusion, while experiencing authentic Polish hospitality.

Yes, cross-sector cooperation is in our DNA. We frequently collaborate with local schools, kindergartens, the municipality, and regional NGO networks (such as the Pomeranian Equal Treatment Center or the KOMPAS Coalition). When we join an international project, we ensure its results are widely disseminated among local stakeholders.

We love quick and direct communication. If you are building a consortium or have an idea for a joint project, simply drop us an email at biuro@akwedukt.org.pl with a brief concept, or use the contact form on our website. We will get back to you with our OID number, PIF, and ideas on how we can contribute!
