The taste of Spain in Akwedukt – cycle of cultural presentations has started!
On January 27, 2026, at the Akwedukt Association, we officially launched a new cycle of cultural presentations aimed at introducing young people to the diversity of Europe and promoting intercultural dialogue. The first stop on this unique journey was Spain—a country full of color, tradition, and vibrant energy.
The meeting was led by European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteers Antonio and Luciana, who for one evening took over the Youth Space and transformed it into a lively hub of Spanish culture. Participants had the opportunity to learn not only basic facts about Spain, but also about everyday life, customs, diverse regions, and a lifestyle that has fascinated people around the world for years. The presentation took the form of an interactive session that encouraged conversation, questions, and the exchange of experiences.
An integral—and most eagerly anticipated—part of the event was the culinary area. Antonio and Luciana prepared a selection of traditional Spanish dishes, allowing local young people to literally “taste” Spain. The tasting became a great opportunity to talk about culture, traditions, and differences between countries, while also helping to build an open and welcoming atmosphere.
Discovering a new culture through its cuisine proved to be an ideal way to break the ice and bring participants closer together. The meeting was not only a source of knowledge, but also an inspiration to further explore other cultures and actively take part in upcoming events organized as part of the cultural presentation series.
The next event will take place this Thursday, January 29, 2026—we invite you to join us on a journey into the heart of Moroccan culture with Asmaa!
