Sunny peasant villages with rowdy animals, deep mysterious woods with scary wolves and cunning witches… Look out!

On the 27. 09 Akwedukt team brightened up the Thursday evening by inviting young members of Świetlica Środowiskowa to Ukrainian presentation.

Through thematic journey kids could discover some traditional games, which are still popular in modern Ukrainian playgrounds. Games involved active physical play, acting tricks, group unity. All the games were learned quickly and so finely performed by kids- our new Ukrainian volunteer was very pleased to be left far behind : )

It was curious to find out how some games are very similar to Polish childhood pastimes, and how some are specific only to the country of blue and yellow. Games were followed by paper crafts to introduce kids to basic Ukrainian symbolics. We thank all the game masters from Świetlica for the joyfull meeting!
