From a volunteer’s perspective, April’s meeting was quite emotional to everyone! We bid farewell to some awesome volunteers: Nesreen, Zehiye, Iako, Ase, and Nada. That’s why we wanted this meeting to be special, so we focused on connecting our feelings and thoughts.

We started with fun energizers to get us moving, like giving each other back rubs. Then, we got serious with some deep questions about how we are feeling towards the volunteering experience and what’s on our minds. Sharing our answers felt like a group therapy session 🙂

Finally, we split into smaller groups to discuss different light topics like sharing our next plans and old volunteers giving pieces of advice to the new ones.
