In the two weeks of school holiday, the life in Akwedukt just became busier.

It became a tradition that during the school holidays that we are holding Culture Week in Akwedukt for make the kids more open-minded for different cultures. Meanwhile our volunteers are making presentation about their cultures, countries. The first week it was for the kids age 6-11. The participants got closer to the Armenian, Spanish, Turkish, Hungarian and Chinese cultures. We did a lot of handy-crafts, games, and moreover we got Chinese names also. The kids were really nice and interested in every programme, especially when they had to focus on something.

During the second week everything was totally different. The kids, the age, the plan, the weather and even the cultures, too.

We provided three culture days, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Italian. The children made dessert with the Ukrainian girls, played Kahoot, and got knew that Italy is not just pizza and pasta. During the other days we learnt something about the culture from different ways of view: like map, writing, recycling, painting. On Wednesday we went to paint to Art Coffee, which the liked very much.

Both weeks ended in Piwnica, where we evaluate the week, gave the kids certificates during drinking and eating brownie. Also we watched the photos about the week, during we were drinking and eating cakes.

We hope we will see the kids once more, during the summer holiday one of our Culture Week.
