Special School is committed to providing an inclusive and educational environment where youngers aged 13 up to 24 years, with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities, along with coupled disabilities, receive the support they need to build essential life skills and prepare for work and independent living. Our diverse curriculum, which goes beyond traditional subjects, includes practical classes such as cooking and gardening, therapy classes like horse therapy and physical therapy, and sports activities.

As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in organizing and conducting educational, rehabilitative, and caring activities for teenagers. Your main aim will be to offer intellectual and emotional support while assisting them in their daily duties.

Your role as a volunteer:

Assisting with educational and caring activities: Collaborate with teachers to support diverse educational and caring activities. Help teenagers with daily routines, including eating, personal hygiene, and motor skills enhancement.

Supporting curricular classes: Helping teachers and students during classes, such as Math lessons, daily social skills training, after-school clubs. Additionally, assist during sensory integration activities, ensuring every student feels engaged and supported.

Participate in extracurricular events: Going with children to museum, cinema, theaters, school trips and camps.

Creating materials: Prepare some materials and making different kind of decoration for making activities.

Implementing own ideas: leading additional classes for students: language courses in the form of games and activities, music and movement activities (sports, dance, theater, art, culinary and club activities).
