Bieg Erasmusa-3oth Birthday of Erasmus+

In 30th of September an Erasmus Run was hold in Warsaw to celebrate the 30th birthday of Erasmus programme. In this magnificent event the volunteers of Akwedukt went to help there where they can. In total there were 12 people from EVS project, and 10 was from our association both from Kwidzyn and Malbork. Most of us arrived to the capital on 29th of September, for not to help only on the running competition but also pack the welcome package for every runner who was attending on this event.

Of course we did not only work but also went sightseeing as well, since we are unable to see everything in one time. Also it was an excellent possibility to get know new people from Warsaw and nearby on an unofficial meeting in a lovely cafe.

To tell something about the run also. As I already said it was a celebration of the Erasmus programme. Because of it was the 30th birthday the total distance was 30 km. For one person it would be a little bit long so the participants had to make groups of 6 people. So in this way everyone had to run 5 kms. Our task was very various there, contains giving drink for runners, guard the way, cheer the runners, make the deposits, give the medals after run.
